Scale and structure of main works:
• Earth dam: L = 270m, Hmax = 40 m and auxiliary dams
• Face, gated spillway, n (bxh) = 3(8x6)m, relief discharge (p=0.5%): 830 m3/s, spillway crest elevation: +23.50
• Sluice consists of 02 pipes, D=1.75m, total length of sluice: 160m, dimension of inspection corridor: 6.5 x 6.5m.
• Canal system:
+ Length of irrigation canal: 560 km, of which:
+ Main canal: 25 km, Primary canal 1: 115 km, secondary, tertiary, quarternary canals: 152 km, etc. and 1590 related structures. Chanh river siphon is the first one constructed by submerged method.
