1. Organization model:
The representative office of HEC in Vientiane – Laos is an dependant unit under leadership and management of HEC.
The Representative office has account at Bank for Agriculture of Laos, uses stamp conforming to prescribed form for transaction and implementation of assigned functions and duties.
The organization consists of:
* Director, Deputy Director of the representative office
* Technicians, staffs
2. Functions, duties:
* Representing rights and obligations of HEC in Laos.
* Being head for transaction, connection with partners for finding works in investigation and designs of projects.
* Timely reporting works in Laos to HEC’s headquarter in Vietnam.
* Monitoring the implementation of signed contracts, immediately reporting arisen issues for consideration and decision made by the Corporation.
* Delivering design documents to the investors.
* Together with other units of the Corporation to carry out acceptance, settlement and liquidation of contracts with investors.
* Working with Laos agencies to deal with procedures for transportation of people, vehicles and equipment of the Corporation to Laos for working.

* Being the connector in relation between the Corporation and Department of Water Resources of Laos.
* The representative office is responsible for behalf of the Corporation to strictly comply with the regulations on management of representative office prescribed by Laos.
* Employees of the representative office are responsible for properly complying with laws of Laos, Vietnam and the Corporation.
