Foundation and development process:

• Consultancy company No.11, forerunner is Design Company No.1, was founded on 08/11/1989 according to the Decision No. 485 QĐ/TCCB-LĐ of the Ministry of Water Resources (now the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development).
• The Company is ranked as Enterprise of class 2 according to the Decision No. 2645/QDD-BNN/TCCB of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
• On 20-06-2008, Consultant Company No.11, branch of Vietnam Hydraulic Engineering Consultants Corporation-JSC. was established according to the Decision No. 299 QĐ/TVXD-HĐQT of the Corporation’s Board of Directors.

Professional qualification:

• Designing reservoirs, pumping stations and hydraulic, hydropower projects.
• Preparing investment report, investment project, technical design and detailed design of hydraulic and hydropower projects.
• Supervising hydraulic - hydropower projects.
• Studying for application of scientific-technological subjects, scientific-technical advances into production, implementing scientific research subjects.

Business and production activities: Completed and undertaken projects:

• Reservoirs, weirs: 85 projects
• Pumping stations: 10 projects
• Hydropower projects: 07 projects, of which major and important, large scale projects with complicated technical requirements include: Cua Dat (Thanh Hoa province), Ta Trach (Thua Thien-Hue province), Dinh Binh (Binh Dinh province), Long Song (Binh Thuan province), Tac Giang - Phu Ly (Ha Nam province), Tan My irrigation system (Ninh Thuan province). Hydropower plants with large capacity include Cua Dat hydropower (97 MW), Dinh Binh hydropower (6.6 MW), Ta Trach hydropower (18 MW).
• 04 projects abroad include 03 in Laos (Dong Phosy pumping station, Tha-pha Nong-phong project and Ta Nam Ngum irrigation system), 01 in Cambodia (O-Chum hydropower).
• Designing advanced technology dam such as Dinh Binh RCC gravity dam, Cua Dat CFRD with height of 115.50m.
• Besides, the Consultancy Company No.11 has carried out construction supervision for Dasiat Hydropower Plant (Lam Dong province), Pho Day Embankment (Tuyen Quang province), Bac Ha Hydropower Plant (Lao Cai province).

For over 20 years of operation, the Consultancy Company No. 11 has been awarded:

• Many certificates of merit of Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, General Trade Union, etc.
• 05 certificates of high quality projects including Nang Phai, Phan Dong, EaSoup aqueduct, headworks of Upper Easoup reservoir and Thach Nham projects.
